Flexible Numbers
Unlike conventional lines, where each line has a telephone number, our lines are set up so that multiple lines can share one number. This way, no matter which line someone calls from, the same number will appear on caller ID. Of course, should you want a dedicated number for some or all extensions, the dedicated number would show on caller ID when a call is made from its extension.
Concurrent Channel Blocks
Even though you may have only purchased a limited number of lines, this feature allows you to purchase an allowance for additional concurrent inbound calls. This way, your callers will not receive a busy signal – no matter how many lines are currently in use.
Physical Extensions
Each telephone is assigned an extension. The extension can be dialed directly from another phone in the system or an outside caller can dial the extension from a menu or auto-attendant (see below).
Unlimited Virtual Extensions
Virtual extensions (also known as "feature codes") are extensions that do not necessarily point to a physical telephone (although they can). You can create an unlimited amount of these extensions to route calls according to your specification.
Voice Mail
The system allows you to create many voice mailboxes. These can be standalone mailboxes, or they can be assigned to a particular extension. Additionally, voicemails can be automatically forwarded via email as an audio file attachment. This way, one can listen to their voicemails on compatible mobile email devices, such as BlackBerry™ phones.
Voice Menus (IVRs)
When someone calls into the system, you can choose to have the call routed to an automated voice menu which will prompt the user to choose how the call should be routed. Many menus can be created, allowing users to access different departments and pre-recorded information.
Hunt Groups
Not always at your desk? With hunt groups, your calls can ring at several different numbers, either simultaneously or consecutively.
Queues
When there are more incoming calls than you have the ability to answer, your callers can listen to hold music (customizable) while waiting in a queue. When a destination extension becomes available, the next call in the queue will ring.
Page Groups
A page group allows you to page one or more extensions at a time. Telephones can be configured to either automatically answer or ring when paged.
Fax-to-Email
With a fax-to-email number, you can receive your faxes directly in your email as a PDF attachment.
Advanced Call Routing
If you want calls to be routed based on time, date, or originating telephone number, our call routing features allow you to specify custom routing for most of the features listed above (example of use: evening and holiday messages).
Remote Access
Like to work from home? Travel often? With Spetnik Solutions Hosted IP-PBX you can take your desk phone with you. No matter where you are in the, you can pick up your phone and dial as if you were sitting at your desk. You can even page another extension from half-way around the world.
